How to Improve Your Circulation Naturally for Better Health

When I first thought about writing an article about circulation, I thought to myself I can post my remedies here and be done.  Needless to say as I began to research circulation I found a huge amount of information on the subject and yet no single person had the ultimate answer for totality in health.

Heart disease is the number one reason for death in America and most of heart disease will come down to diet and exercise.  Although there are many natural cures which I will list in this article, the general consensus was that exercise will improve circulation and the number one suggested exercise was rebounding.

Rebounding Enhances the Lymph System

The aspect of Rebounding on a mini-trampoline for fitness training has many benefits. The most praised beneficial aspect is the ability to enhance the lymph system. The movement of lymph fluid depends on physical exercise unlike the cardiac-system, which depends on the heart. If the body does not get enough exercise, this impairs the flow of the lymph fluids and the cells are not cleansed of their wastes and don’t get sufficient nutrients. Rebounding on a mini-trampoline for fitness training increases the flow of lymph fluid by about 15-30 times.

Besides exercising, most doctors suggested dietary changes with a great reduction in fat and especially saturated fats.  The suggested diet is one of vegetarian  with no sugar or dairy.  It is best to see your doctor if you have any concerns about your heart or ability to perform any exercise program suggested above.

Dr. Christopher and Cayenne to Improve Circulation

Dr. John Christopher is known as Dr. Cayenne and nothing short of a miracle can describe to you his life.  He had many problems from hardening of the arteries to high blood pressure to a bleeding ulcer and was given only 8 years to live.  He went home and started taking one teaspoon of cayenne in a glass of water every day and after two months his ulcer was gone.  Ten years later he went for a physical and there were no signs of any artery problems or high blood pressure.

He stated that cayenne would stop a heart attack within two minutes and that the patient would never need to go to the hospital if given one teaspoon in a glass of hot water.   He stated that black pepper can be substituted if cayenne is not available, but you must use three times the amount.

Christopher writes: “One of the most important uses of cayenne is as a circulatory stimulant, an herb that feeds the necessary elements into the cell structure of arteries, veins, and capillaries. It helps to reduce and normalize the blood flow.

“Cayenne equalizes the blood pressure, influencing the heart immediately, and then extending its effects to the venous structure. It also works to cut the mucus in the venous system, and indeed, all the systems throughout the body.

“The healing power of the body is in the blood. Cayenne purifies the blood.”
The Best Herbal Combination

The best overall remedy for circulation has to be the one with ginger, garlic, ginseng and cayenne.  Some companies are selling this exact formula and you may prefer to buy a packaged formula compared to making up one homemade.  Here is one such formula: Dr. Christopher's Circulation Formula

This remedy contains:  Cayenne, Ginger, Golden Seal, Ginseng, Parsley and Garlic. This group of herbs feed cayenne (a stimulant) and ginger (stimulant) into the circulatory system where the cayenne works from the bloodstream to the heart and arteries and out into the veins. The other herbs in this formula assist these two herbs and work together to equalize the blood pressure (whether high or low) to bring it to a good systolic over the diastolic reading.

Dr. Schultz - Another Lover of Cayenne

Dr. Schultz is famous for his liver detox and his 5 day cleansing plan.  He has many remedies using cayenne and here are a few:
  • Memory, Hearing, and Depression: 3 parts Ginkgo Biloba leaf, 1 part Cayenne
  • Blood Pressure (high or low): 2 parts Garlic bulb, 1 part Cayenne, 1 part Ginger root
  • Heart problems: 2 parts Hawthorne berry, 1 part Cayenne
  • Fatty Blood or High Cholesterol: 2 parts Red Clover blossoms, 1 part Garlic bulb, 1 part Cayenne
  • Circulation problems: 1 part Cayenne, 1 part Ginger root
  • Colds and Sore Throat: 4 parts Echinacea root, 2 parts Peppermint leaves, 1 part Garlic bulb, 1 part Cayenne.
The suggested dosage is to take the remedies 3 times a day.  Tinctures are the optimum way to take these remedies according to Schultz.  To make a tincture he suggests using 80 proof vodka, but there are some recipes using apple cider vinegar.  To make the tincture, take a cup of herbs and add in 1 1/4 cup of vodka.  Shake the mixture daily and then wait for at least two weeks before using the tinctures. Schultz however waits three months for his tinctures.

Red Grape Seeds Promote Circulation

My favorite solution for circulation has to be whole red grape seeds.  There is no special elixir and no special anything really.  You just grind the seeds and put them in vegetarian capsules and take two a day.  You can take them any time of the day, but best to take on a full stomach.  Red grape seeds are good for everything from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet.  So in other words they are good for eye problems to numbness in lower legs and feet due to sciatica and other related problems. If you can buy the whole grape seeds or powder, it is best over supplements, if not then choose the very best supplement you can find.

There is an herbalist I have been watching on You Tube and he is with Herbs Plus Beads Works from Windsor Canada and he suggests the following remedy for circulation.
